A very good remaindered copy of Warburton's definitive biography of Fowles based upon her 20-year relationship with the author and her access to his personal diaries, notes, and other papers after his death. Bound in black quarter cloth over forest green paper boards, gilt stamped titles to the spine, and the author's initials blind stamped on the front board. Pages are clean, bright, and unmarked. Lower edge has a small remainder mark made by a black felt marker. Some light rubbing is present to the edges. Jacket is in similar condition with the slightest edge wear. A lovely copy.
