Fifty-eight pages numbered [609]-668 containing the first appearance of August Derleth's SAC PRARIE PEOPLE poems Lois Malone, Ted Birkett, and Bart Hinch that James A. Decker would later publish in the 1945 collection The Edge of Night. This edition of Driftwind is saddle stapled in light blue floral wallpaper wrappers. Dorothy Waller's name is inked on the top edge of the front, a small 1" split at the foot of the spine, and gentle bumping to corners. A Very Good copy of Coates' amateur publication.
