A stunning copy of the first edition in its original jacket. Bound in green cloth with burgundy stamped titles and blind stamped boards. Top edge of the boards are lightly sunned. Some loss to lower spine title. Corners sharp. Pages clean and crisp. No marks, notes, or foxing. The jacket is surprisingly well preserved with some bumping to the head and foot. There is a one-inch closed tear to the upper inside corner of the frond and a small one quarter-inch closed tear as the inside lower corner of the back. Jacket retains the original $7.95 on the inside front flap. A spectacular copy. [Shelved].
