An indispensable volume for the Lovecraft aficionado. The New York Times described this volume as follows: "S. T. Joshi has gone to original manuscripts for a re-presentation of works first published in the 1920s and '30s, most often in Weird Tales magazine. The verbal decor has been rearranged, but the grand architectural foundation remains: psychosis in civilized form, strenuous but polished and poignant American Gothic."
This copy is from my personal collection and was purchased by me in 1995. It is in fine condition with a fine jacket, its only blemish is a small "v" shaped nick on the corner from the front flap. Appears to be an original issue form publication.
