Contains the first appearance of The Window by H. P. Lovecraft. Robert E. Howard admitted in a letter to HPL that The Window was one of his favorite poems of the Fungi from Yuggoth sonnet cycle sent to him in 1930. Tipped in is a Single leaf order form for Driftwind’s publication of “Castles of Memories” by Ella Warner Fisher. Pasted in by Coates is a frontispiece of the Covered Bridge in East Montpelier, Vermont. Other authors featured in this edition are Owen R. Washburn and H. D. Sayler as well as reprints of sonnets by Milton and Sarah Helen Whitman. Twenty-eight pages unnumbered pages in green paper wraps with a red stitched binding. A lovely Fine copy featuring the poetry of Lovecraft. Very minor bumping to corners.
